Scooters and wheelchairs all come with VLRA (valve-regulated lead acid) or “sealed” batteries. Starmax offers both AGM & GEL Series for these applications.
AGM batteries are better suited to those making less regular use of their mobility equipment while Gel batteries are longer-lasting, and best suited to people who want to make heavy use of their powerchair or scooter. They take several charge cycles to reach their peak capacity.

STG Series-Deep Cycle Gel

Starmax STG (Deep Cycle GEL) series is pure GEL battery with 15~20 years floating design life. The batteries have an enhanced performance and are, ideal for standby or frequent cyclic discharge applications under extreme environments.
By using strong grids, high purity lead and Gel electrolyte, the DG series offers excellent recovery after deep discharge under frequent cyclic discharge use.
